Chassis:

In setting up the chassis, handling and on-road performance were my goals.

Installed custom, lowered coil springs front and rear.

Air-Lifts went into the rear coils to handle heavy loads.

Rebuilt suspension with polyurethane bushings:

Installed 1-1/8" (F) and 7/8" (R) Cougar sway bars.

KYB Gas-A-Just shocks steady the ride.

A Mustang Boss 429 SPA-T fast ratio power steering tightens the turn-in.

8 spoke wheels are shod with 245/60 and 275/60 tires. Now there's no "push" in the corners.

New plate coolers keep the transmission and power steering chilled.

Custom mounts set the front bumper back 5" and saved another 100#

A custom hitch unit replaced the rear frame crossmember. the 2" receiver hides behind the license plate.

Even made new radiator support bushings to replace the ruined originals.
